Question What would be a better car?
i'm going to be 16 next month and i'm asking for a different car (i have a 1994 pontiac grand am se coupe) i just want a car with lower miles and has no rust here are they cars i'm debating on: 2000-2003 Ford Focus Sedan 2000-2003 Ford Taurus 1999-2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT Sedan 1999-2003 Pontiac Grand Am SE Sedan 1998-2003 Ford Ranger Extended Cab Short Bed 1998-2003 Lincoln Town Car/Mercury Grand Marquis/Ford Crown Victoria and i want to put some subwoofers in my next vehicle and i want to be able to still have enough room for my 3-ball bowling ball bag in the trunk/truck bed thanks in advance

Best Answer I'd go with the grand am. My next choice would be the ranger. Both will hold bowling balls and subs.

Question What would make a good car audio system for my car?
I have a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am SE Coupe and i already have installed 2 new Polk Audio MM46 Speakers in my doors and i have an Alpine CDA-105 that i want to install or have somebody install. i was going to upgrade that rear speakers to like Alpine Type-S or Alpine Type-R 6"x9" speakers, but i don't know which ones to choose i also want to have 2 12" subwoofers in my trunk. with the box i was going to have it ported, large enough to hold the speakers but small enough to still be able to access my spare tire and have enough room for my 3 ball bowling ball bag. so should i get the Alpine Type-S or Alpine Type-R 6"x9" speakers? should i get 2 12" Alpine Type-S subwoofers? if so, should i get 2 or 4 ohm? and would an Alpine PDX-1.600 be a good amp to have with the subwoofers? or should i save up for 2 12" Alpine Type-R subwoofers? thanks in advance or for another amplifier would the Alpine MRP-500 make a good amplifier (but i would get 2 to give each subwoofer 300 watts rms)?

Best Answer The S series alpine products are more for lower budgets. They still sound pretty sweet but if you can afford it go for the Type R. If you get the R 12 subs the MRP-M1000 is a more appropriate amp.
