I want to buy some bowling shoes, but I know nothing about them. What do you suggest I get? What brand has the best value? (money/quality) Thanks

Best Answer I'd purchase either Dexter, Linds, Circle or Brunswick brands of bowling shoes. All manufacturers have sturdy shoes (my Dexters lasted for over 15 years), and they all have entry level types that start at .99 for beginners. It's definitely a good investment unless you want to rent shoes at -4 bucks each time you bowl. For right handers, the sliding sole is on the left shoe and for lefties, it will be on the right shoe. what happens if u wet the leather from ur bowling shoes? and wat proddocts are best to take care of that leather?

Best Answer Nothing happens to them. They are just like any other leather shoe. Water isn't going to do any damage to the leather, you don't get worried when it rains on your Nike's, do you? The only thing that you should worry about is getting your slide pad wet. If you get this wet, you will not be able to slide at all and you will most likely fall on your face when you throw your next shot. You will want to dry off the slide pad before you bowl again but don't worry about getting the rest of the shoe wet.
